We provide dessert catering for weddings, parties, and special events. We also provide dessert consulting, recipe development, and contract services to Executive Chefs.
Robin’s Nest Desserts is a black female and family owned business. Our trade mark is our specialty dessert rolls. We ship these rolls frozen around the world while giving back to local and international under serviced communities.
Robin McCoy, Dessert Chef and Owner of Robin’s Nest Desserts and Catering, and Director of Culinary Programs at Oak Grove Culinary Creations is a self- taught, inspiring dessert artist with a penchant for sweet creativity. Born and raised in the Midwest, Robin’s skills were developing while working at T.J.’s restaurant, her family-owned neighborhood restaurant in Gary, IN.
When Robin relocated from the Midwest to California to start her life with her wonderful and handsome husband, Moses, she decided to put her passion for cooking and her knowledge of the restaurant business to work.
Robin launched her catering business in San Diego in 2004. In 2011, after earning her Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Robin decided to open a very trendy “Sweet” Dessert Bistro in Old Town Temecula. Robin is currently providing desserts for exclusive private parties and creating custom desserts for local restaurants and Specialty shops.
Robin’s Nest Desserts and Catering innovates sweetness to parts unknown… Robin bakes to her own impeccable taste, combining flavors in appealing ways as well as pairing organic herbs in her sweet creations. One of several of those sweet creations is the Lemon-Lavender Bar which is an award winning favorite dessert item in the community.
Robin, a community minded individual is also the founder and Executive Director of Women Organizing Women (WOW), Inc., a faith-based non-profit organization that provides resources to inner-cities throughout the country. WOW, Inc. partners with local women in their communities for charitable causes. Robin has used this platform to teach young at-risk girls the skill of culinary, and is most pleased when she sees young lives transformed through the art of cooking. This platform where Robin teaches at-risk youth and youth with disabilities is located at Oak Grove Culinary Creations in the beautiful Truax Building in Old Town Temecula at 41923 2nd Street, Temecula, CA 92590
